Subsea Pty Ltd ("Subsea", "we", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of the people we deal with. This policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. It applies to this website, subsea.com.au, and to our dealings with clients, suppliers, contractors and job applicants.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for direct marketing unless you have asked us to.
4. Who we share it with
We only disclose personal information where it is needed to carry out the work or where the law requires it. This can include our crew, subcontractors and suppliers engaged on a project; port authorities, classification societies, regulators and insurers connected to the work; our professional advisers; and our IT and hosting providers. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia, in which case we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in a way consistent with this policy.
5. Storage and security
We hold personal information in our business systems and with reputable cloud providers, protected by access controls, passwords and encryption where appropriate. We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above or as required by law, including record-keeping obligations for safety and maritime operations, and then destroy or de-identify it.
